Flow and Heat Transfer Characteristics of S-CO2 in a Vertically Rising Y-Tube

The supercritical carbon dioxide Brayton cycle has gradually become a research focus, but we also see deficiency in related to the flow and heat transfer characteristics of S-CO2 boiler staves with high parameters. In this paper, is investigated 1000 MW cooled wall tube parameters pressure 30.42 MPa, mass flux 1592~2207 kg/(m2·s), 39.8~71.2 kw/m2; three-dimensional model CO2 fluid cooling established RNG k-epsilon turbulence model. Numerical simulations are carried out according following boundary conditions: an adiabatic half side, heated Y-type three-way two-to-one. effects flux, inlet temperature, on Y-tube analyzed, which exerts great influence stave thermodynamics.
